Bulldogger basketball got back in the win column on Friday night, drilling Caney Valley, 56-33.

Dewey found themselves trailing early with only two made baskets in the first quarter. The Bulldoggers cut into the deficit late in the second, with this block from Kooper Crawford and a fancy layup from Karson Johnson.

After trailing by seven at halftime, the Bulldoggers turned the tide and rolled in the final two quarters. Dewey outscored the Trojans in the second half 39-9 to run away with the win. Crawford and Johnson continued their solid play, both finishing in double figures. Johnson hit three three-pointers in the second half, this one coming in the fourth quarter.

The win puts Dewey at 6-6 on the season.

Dewey returns on Tuesday night for a road test against Oologah. The boys will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. Coverage of the game will be on 104.9 KRIG and on KRIGTV.com.
