High School Basketball Finals 1/16:

Girls:

Pawhuska blew out Newkirk, 38-20. 

South Coffeyville improved to 14-0, Lady Lions beat Nowata, 57-20.

Shidler topped Copan, 70-28.

Guys:

Pawhuska held off Newkirk, 50-40.

Copan guys made it a split against Shidler, winning 54-38.

Nowata blew out the South Coffeyville’s boys, 74-33.

A hearty congrats to Colt Hightower of Caney Valley, Kansas. Hightower surpassed 1,000 career points while leading the Bullpups to a 78-77 win over Iola on Thursday night just north of the boarder.
