Bruins Face Challenge at Broken Arrow
Bartlesville High will have its toughest test to date for both the girl’s and boy’s teams on Tuesday night BHS travels to Broken Arrow to face the leaders in 6A District 4.
On the Bruin guy’s side, Bartlesville is trying to find a way to get some offense going. The Bruins are averaging only 36.1 points per game while shooting 36.3 percent from the field.
BHS head coach Tommy DeSalme says he wants his team, and others at Bartlesville High, to reflect the mindset of Bartlesville itself.
DeSalme says mistakes are going to happen, but as the season moves along, he wants to see a tougher mindset from the Bruins to not let things snowball.
Bruin guys are 1-7, the BA boys are 9-1 with the Tiger’s only loss coming from out-of-state.
The Lady Tigers enter at 6-1, while the Lady Bruins are 4-2.
A 6:30 tip for the girls with the guys to follow around 8:00. We will have the double-header for you on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video coverage on KWONTV.com.
