Ironmen Look to End Fall Semester Strong

The Nowata Ironmen just wrapped up play in the Ty Hewitt Memorial, going 1-2 during the week. Afte falling to Manford in the first round, the Ironmen rebounded to get a hard fought 54-49 win over Chelsea on Friday. Head Coach Derick Ott said it was nice to see his team rebound from that tough overtime loss in the first round.
Nowata played the late game on Friday and following the gritty win over Chelsea, they had to play early the next day against Field Kinley. The Ironmen fell in a spirited attempt by 12.
After having a few days off to begin the week, Nowata finishes the fall semester with back-to-back games at Chelsea and Commerce respectively beginning on Thursday.
Nowata stands at 3-2 on the young season.
