Bruin Basketball Travels to Sapulpa
Bartlesville High basketball has its second-to-last double-header before Christmas today on the road at Sapulpa.
It is the final road contest of 2024 for BHS.
The Bruin guys are hoping for some positivity, as Bartlesville has dropped four-straight since its season-opening win over Ponca City. BHS has struggled some on offense over the past couple weeks. Bartlesville scored 33 and 37 points in two games in Latta after scoring 52 against a solid Sand Springs club last week.
Head coach Tommy DeSalme says how Bartlesville does offensively shouldn’t affect his team’s defense.
On the girl’s side, Bartlesville is coming off two straight wins. The Lady Bruins handled Sand Springs and Muskogee in back-to-back games last week. Sapulpa is historically a tough girl’s program but enters at 2-6 on the season.
A 6:30 tip for the ladies with an 8:00 start for the boys on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video on KWONTV.com on Friday night.
