Bartlesville High basketball is back after it on Thursday night, as the Bruin boys get their first extended number of games during this weekend’s Latta Tournament.

BHS will face the host-club Latta Thursday evening for game one. Bartlesville has lost two straight to Edmond North and Sand Springs by double-digits in District play over the past week. The Bruins are 1-2 in the early season.

Sand Springs topped BHS 68-52 on Tuesday at Bruin Field House. Following the Sandite game head coach Tommy DeSalme said his team is going to get better.

The host team, the Latta Panthers, enter at 3-3 on the season. They are the No. 16 team in Class 2A. Despite the field being full of lower-classification teams, DeSalme says it will be a challenge for the Bruins this weekend.

A scheduled 7:45 tip for the boys from Latta. We will have radio-only coverage of the tournament all weekend, including Thursday night.
