There wasn’t much of a wait in the offseason for OU football to find its new offensive coordinator.

Head coach Brent Venables and the Sooners announced on Monday that former Washington State OC Ben Arbuckle will lead the Oklahoma offense in 2025.

Arbuckle is 29 years old. Prior to two seasons in Pullman Arbuckle was the co-OC at Western Kentucky for a couple of seasons.

He replaces Seth Littrell, who was let go in October after a poor start for the Sooner offense this past season. Arbuckle was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and was raised in Canadian.

He played quarterback at West Texas A&M from 2016-2017.
