Panthers Season Ends With Another Playoff Appearance

After spending the past four seasons playing 8-man football, the Barnsdall Panthers were able to make it back into the Class A-II playoffs in their first year back in 11-man. The season ended with a first round loss at Talihina a little more than a week ago, but Coach Kylee Sweeney hopes this can be a springboard of sorts moving forward.
The Panthers battled injuries all season long. Sweeney is proud of his bunch for never giving up on the end goal.
Several of the upperclassmen will get recognized with end of the year honors. Sweeney says he is proud of what they were able to accomplish, not only this year, but during their entire high school career.
Barnsdall finished the year 6-5.
