A couple of Oklahoma Wesleyan fall sports moving on to another round in the NAIA National Tournament in the next couple of weeks.

The women’s volleyball team swept Indiana East 3-0 on Saturday in Bartlesville. The Eagle women will now next play a week from this Saturday, Dec. 7, in Sioux City, Iowa in the next round of the event. The pairings for that round of the tournament have yet to be released.

Meanwhile the Eagle men’s soccer program is in search of another Final Four berth and Jamie Peterson’s first National Championship. OKWU will be in the Final Site 16 in Wichita, Kansas. The Eagles will take on Baker, Kansas on Dec. 3, a week from today. OKWU would need four more wins to take home the title.

The women’s soccer team had its run end on Saturday with a loss to Mid-America Nazarene.
