It's another Monday and that means it is time for another Patriot Auto Group Area Athlete of the Week powered by Tri County Tech. Today we go to Barnsdall and take a look at quarterback Maverick Lamphear.

Barnsdall's season came to an end on Friday after the Panthers put up a valliant effort against Talihina. Lamphear was proud of how resiliant his team stayed throughout the year and enjoyed seeing the smooth transition they were able to make from playing 8-man football over the last four years to 11-man football this year.

Lamphear is a multi-sport athlete, participating in basketball and baseball in additon to being quarterback of the football team. Over those three sports, Lamphear says if he had to choose he would probably pick baseball, as it is a sport he has been playing his entire life.

Lamphear is unsure if he wants to continue his sports career at the next level, but he is sure of what he wants to study in college.
