The Pawhuska Huskies suffered a difficult 38-36 loss at Christian Heritage Academy on Friday night, thus their football season came to an end in the quarterfinals of the Class A-I quarterfinals. Coach Matt Hennesy said his team played hard, but couldn't catch a break.

The Huskies hadn't committed a turnover in five games, but committed three on Friday. Hennesy credits the Crusaders for making those plays, but also knows football can be a cruel game.

Pawhuska was down 38-22 with ten minutes remaining. The Huskies scored and got the two-point conversion with six minutes remaining. After holding CHA defensively, they got one final chance on the offensive end. Canyon Hindman found Lane Kyler for a touchdown and then it came down to the two-point conversion.

Pawhuska finishes its season at 9-3.
