OKWU basketball splits doubleaheader at KWU
OKWU basketball split a doubleheader with Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina KS. In the woman's game. OKWU fell behind 24-4 after one quarter, but the Lady Eagles won the next the 2nd half and got within 10, falling 83-73. OKWU falls to 1-6 overall and 0-3 in KCAC play.
In the men's game OKWU fell behind early, trailing by eight points early in the first half, but when the Eagles got going, they never looked back with plays like this.
OKWU would take the lead at halftime 41-35 and used plays like this Jaden Wilson bucket to pull away.
OKWU won 78-68 to improve to 5-2 overall and 3-0 in KCAC play. OKWU basketball has a little bit of a break as they are back in action on Dec. 4 as they host Avila.
