The Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball teams hosted Friends University in KCAC action from Mueller Sports Center in Bartlesville. The women's game was a thriller as OKWU lost a nail biter in double overtime, 82-81.

Shade Richardson had a huge game for the Lady Eagles, scoring 23 points and shooting 3-4 from three point range. OKWU shot an incredible 17-19 from three point range in the loss as they fell to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in KCAC play.

On the men's side, OKWU dominated Friends from start to finish in a 82-58 win. The Eagles outrebounded Friends 40-25 and shot 53% from the field en route to a complete team win. DJ. Talton JR. lead the team with 17 points while Nike Bene (Buh-nay) had a season high 14 in the win to help the Eagles improve to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the KCAC.

OKWU basketball will be in action on Saturday against Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina KS starting with the women's game at 3 and then the Men's to follow at 5 pm, with radio coverage on KPGM 99.1, Alex Benzegala will be on the call in that.
