OKWU basketball battles Friends U. on Wed

Okahoma Wesleyan basketball continues their trek through the Kansas Collegiate Athletic League, as they host a doubleheader with Friends University out of Wichita, with radio coverage on KWON and KPGM in Bartlesville.
The women's will start the action at 6 pm, with the Eagles looking for their first KCAC win. OKWU is 1-4 overall and 0-1 in conference, Head Coach Messer knows competition is a grind each and every game.
On the men's side, OKWU is coming off thier first KCAC win at 1-0, and hope to build upon that against as they host a strong Friends University team tonight. Eagles Head Coach Donnie Bostwick understands this is a unique moment for the University with also three home games in the National Tournament between both soccer programs and the Volleyball team. He says he's happy to be a part of it.
Tonight's games from the Mueller Sports Complex will start with the Women's at 6 p.m and the men's at 8, only on KWON and KPGM. Alex Benzegala will be on the call for both games.
