Panthers Give Talihina All They Want in 1st Round of A-II Playoffs

The Barnsdall Panthers put up a fight against the Talihina Golden Tigers on Friday evening, but fell short, losing 30-20, in the first round of the Class A-II playoffs. Coach Kylee Sweeney said it was a game that Barnsdall was in until the end, but the Panthers were unable to take advantage of the breaks at the right time.
Health had been a key to Barnsdall's season all year long, but Sweeney said the Panthers got healthy at the right time of the year and that gave them a chance against a talented Golden Tigers team.
Barnsdall finishes the year at 6-5. We will have a full season recap on the Panthers season next week.
