OKWU Volleyball storms their way to KCAC title

It was a special Saturday for Oklahoma Wesleyan University starting the the volleyball team winning the KCAC Volleyball tournament with a five set thrilling win over McPherson College in the Mueller Sports Complex in Bartlesville. The Eagles started out with a 2-0 lead before the Bulldogs stormed back to win the next two sets, even having a 2 point lead midway through the fifth set. OKWU pulled away late in the final set, as Head Coach Tracie Gillete knew it would be a battle for the title.
 
Coach Gillette's Daughter Sidney Collins was the KCAC 2024 Setter of the Year, the former Bartlesville Bruin describes to Bartlesville radio what it felt like to win the championship in her hometown.
 
Collins was amazed by the crowd support, and says that she expects an even more raucus environment when they are expected to host a first round National Tournament game after pairings and dates are announced Monday afternoon.
