Conference Tourneys Heat Up for OKWU
Oklahoma Wesleyan fall sports are still winding down.
OKWU volleyball will host the quarterfinals of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday night at 7:00. Lady Eagles have No. 8 seed York into Bartlesville. OKWU is 27-2 overall and the No. 1 seed in the tournament after going 12-1 in KCAC play.
The entire KCAC Volleyball Tournament is at the Mueller Sports Center because of the Eagles first-place finish in the conference.
Meanwhile Eagle men’s soccer will have their KCAC Tournament title match on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in Wichita against three-seeded Ottawa. OKWU beat Bethel in the semis this past Friday, 6-2. Eagle men are 19-1 on the year.
The Lady Eagle soccer team was upset on PKs in the semis of the conference tournament on Friday night against Friends.
Wesleyan women will still be dancing in the NAIA National Tournament later this month.
