Copan Plays Wilson for District Title

Copan might have one of the biggest games this week.

The Hornets are playing for their District championship on Friday evening.

Wilson visits northern Washington County at 7:00 PM. Both Copan and the Eagles are undefeated in District play. Wilson has been tough all season long.

The Eagles have not given up a point in District action, outscoring their opponents 144-0 over three wins.

Copan isn’t that far behind, winning its District games by an average of 45 points-per-game.

The good news for Copan, the game is being played at home. It will be senior night for a small group of Hornet seniors. Most of the Copan core are juniors this fall.
