Bartlesville High football enters the stretch run of the 2024 season at 0-6 and desperately needing a win for a shot at home playoff game.

Putnam City North visits Custer Stadium for Thursday night football.

BHS lost 55-0 at Muskogee a week ago. After competing a bit in the first half the Roughers ran away with the game in the third and fourth quarters.

Head coach Harry Wright says with the shorter week and the lopsided score, the program decided to move on and prepare for PC North tonight rather than dwell on last week’s loss.

PC North will again be no easy task. The Panthers enter the game at 5-1 and look to have a chance at a top three spot in the District. PC North returns its top running back and pass catcher but does have a new quarterback.

This game appears to signify a change in the Bruin schedule, as it starts to lighten over the final month of the year.

Wright talks about keys for a Bruin win against the Panthers.

A 6:30 pregame and a 7:00 kick from Custer Stadium. We will have the game on Thursday on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video coverage on KWONTV.com.

This is the first of three home games in the final four regular season contests for BHS.
