Nowata rolls into bye week with winning streak

Nowata football may have started 0-4, but don't look now the Ironmen have won 3 straight A1 District 3 games after a 22-20 win at Morrison last week. Nowata have been the comeback kids of the area at times this season, overcoming a 20-6 halftime deficit last week to get the big win. Nowata Head Coach Chance Juby talks the bye week and preparing for District leading Pawnee next week.
Juby says while football is important, his team has put in a lot of effort to be successful so far and wants his players and staff to find time for themselves prior to a their game at Pawnee next week.
Nowata is next set to face Pawnee at 7 p.m next Friday night, Oct. 25.
