Bartlesville High football has its hands full this week with the No. 1 ranked team in the state, travelling to Muskogee on Friday night.

The Roughers are 5-0 and have yet to play a close game against a team from Oklahoma.

Meanwhile Bartlesville enters at 0-5 - A tough record for a Bruin team that has competed in nearly every game they’ve played in.

One of the positives of the past few weeks has been the Bartlesville run game. BHS has gotten a jolt in running the ball from quarterback Nate Neal. Neal has nearly 120 rushing yards over the past three games, which has helped even out the BHS offense.

Bartlesville head coach Harry Wright talks about Neal running.

Muskogee will feature future Texas State quarterback Jamarian Ficklin, a four-year starter, and former Bartlesville Bruin PJ Wallace at tailback. Both will make the Rougher offense tick, they’ve averaged 50-points a game early this year.

Wright talks about keys for the Bruins.
