Bartlesville High School Swim Coach Chad Englehart has been named the 2023-2024 OSSAA Coach of the Year. This comes after the Lady Bruin swim team won the Class 6A state championship and the boys brought home a second place finish.

Englehart took over as Bartlesville swim coach in 2014 and the 2024 state title is the 42^nd swimming state championship the Bruins have captured. It was the first Bartlesville title since 2019. After winning that championship back in February, Englehart said he was excited to see their dreams of winning a state title come true.

At the state championship meet last year, Addison Howze and Anna Young each broke state records in their respective events.
