Bartlesville Football Hosts Sapulpa for Homecoming

It is homecoming at Custer Stadium and Bartlesville High will host Sapulpa with probably its best chance at win this season on Friday night.

The Bruins are 0-4 after a few close calls early on, including last week, after leading early at Sand Springs.

The homecoming parade was last night, with some other off-the-field festivities around the game this evening, too.

Bartlesville head coach Harry Wright says the homecoming stuff is not for his guys.

On the field, Sapulpa is 1-3. The Chieftains appear to be a little down in comparison to recent Sapulpa teams. The Chieftains earned their first victory in blowout fashion last week over Capitol Hill. Tonight’s game could end up being important at the end of the year District standings.

Wright talks about some objectives for his club.

A 6:30 pregame with a 7:00 kick, we will have coverage of the game on KWON with video live stream on KWONTV.com Friday evening.

Don’t forget about our tailgate show before the pregame with hot dogs and hamburgers on the south side entrance of Lyon Field.
