It is another Monday and that means it is time for another Patriot Auto Group Athlete of the Week powered by Tri County Tech. This week, we turn our attention out west to Pawhuska where Will Sweeden has helped his Pawhuska football team get off to a great start in 2024.

Sweeden has been playing football since seventh grade and has been a prominent member of the Pawhuska offensive line and the front seven of the Huskies defensive front since he was a sophomore. Sweeden admits he is a football junkie, but it is about being on the field with his teammates that makes things so special.

Pawhuska has gotten off to a 4-1 start on the year. Sweeden says the love of the game is why Pawhuska has gotten off to such a good start and will be the key to their future success.

Sweeden's coach, Matt Hennesy raved about his leadership and willingness to play multiple spots on the field when called upon. Hennesy also talked about the positive leadership style that Sweeden shows.

Sweeden hopes to be a financial adviser and is considering attending either Oklahoma State University or Missouri Southern University in Joplin so that he can be with his former teammate Noah Wilson. Sweeden is hoping to retire early so that he can live his life how he has always wanted to.

Congratulations once again to Will Sweeden for being this week's Patriot Auto Group Athlete of the Week powered by Tri County Tech.
