The Pawhuska Huskies hosted the Oklahoma Union Cougars for a homecoming tilt on Friday night and it was the Huskies who came out victorious, 52-20.

Pawhuska received the ball to start the game and had great field position. They took advantage quickly with this quarterback keeper from Canyon Hindman.

After stopping Oklahoma Union on fourth down, the Husky offense got going once again. This time it was the sophomore running back Vann Wildcat who helped make it 16-0.

Oklahoma Union running back Jacob Harris busted a big play to make it 16-7 and the Cougars were in it at halftime, trailing 22-13. A Logan Cass interception on the opening defensive drive for Pawhuska that turned into a touchdown by Lane Kyler made it 30-13. From there, the Huskies cruised to the win.

Next week, Pawhuska plays at Pawnee and the Cougars host Morrison.
