One of the biggest area games this week is Caney Valley hosting regional foe Nowata, with coverage on KRIG and KRIGTV.com. Trojans Head Coach Stephen Mitchell says he is happy about going into the District opener  with a win last week over Cleveland JV 36-0, and he is excited to start district play with an area rival.

Mitchell says that Nowata is a big challenge and that he respects Ironmen Head Coach Chance Juby and his team.
