Not much went right for the Pawhuska Huskies in a 46-8 loss on Friday night at Woodland. Two time consuming drives in the first half gave the Cougars a 16-0 halftime lead before going on to take a 30-0 lead in the third quarter.

With Pawhuska forced to punt the ball from deep in their own territory in the third quarter, this special teams play was one of a few highlights on the night for the Huskies.

Unfortunately, the Huskies were unable to score on that drive, but they did so in the late stages of the fourth quarter. It was a pass completion into the end zone to Logan Cass.

Pawhuska is now 3-1 on the season. The Huskies will look to move to 2-0 in district play when they host Oklahoma Union next Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. and can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
