Through Barnsdall's first two games of 2024, injuries have been the major issue facing the Panthers. Barnsdall had its bye week last week and to open that week, the Panthers were without six starters. As a result, Coach Kylee Sweeney opted to have light practices in an effort to get his team healthy.

Barnsdall finishes its non district schedule against a team the Panthers are close to in proximity, but haven't played since 1948, that being the Nowata Ironmen. Sweeney says Nowata is much better than their 0-3 record indicates.
