Copan Football Readies for Bye Week

Copan football will get some much-needed rest this weekend after a 3-0 start.

The Hornets are 3-0 for the first time in 16 years and Copan is one of only a couple undefeated teams left across our area.

The Hornets are coming off a 50-6 win over Depew last week. The usual suspects played well in Kane Foreman, Teagan Caron, Weston O’Rourke and Shooter Brewington all played well in the win.

Head coach Marshall Foreman says most of the second string was in by early in the third quarter.

Foreman talks individual performances in the win.

No game for Copan this week, as the Hornets will travel to take on the Dewar JV club a week from this Friday.

Foreman says many of his guys have some lingering injuries he wants to get cleared up. He talks about objectives for the Copan bye week.

More on Copan football planned over the next two weeks.
