Nowata comeback at Chelsea falls short

The Nowata Ironmen went on the road to face the Chelsea Green Dragons on Friday night and what a game it was as the Ironmen had a chance to take the lead in the 4th quarter, but it was Chelsea who mad a few more plays to earn the 24-14 win. The Nowata defense forced five Chelsea turnovers and 4 interceptions, including two first quarter interceptions by Jose Wilson, here is how his 2nd sounded on KRIG.
Alex Benzegala on the call. Chelsea built a 16-0 lead before Nowata stormed back and dominated the 3rd quarter, thanks to a 23 yard run touchdown run from wilson and then this big touchdown throw from Trevor Emberson to Asiah Saxton.
That made the score 16-14 Chelsea entering the 4th quarter. It looked like Nowata would take the lead early in the 4th quarter, but a turnover near the Chelsea 20 yard yard line gave the ball back to the Green Dragons and they tacked on another touchdown to make the final score 24-14.
Nowata falls to 0-3 will look to bounce back against Barnsdall for their first home game of the season and homecoming Next friday.
