The Pawhuska Huskies have gotten off to a great start in 2024, outscoring their first two opponents by a combined score of 110-19. This week is expected to be a little bit different though, as the Hominy Bucks visit Pawhuska for the 2024 edition of the, “Battle of the Osage.”

Coach Matt Hennesy says that this week has been about managing the emotions of his players leading into the big Friday night matchup.

Hominy star athlete Jaxon Woods finally graduated in 2023, but Hennesy believes they are more talented this year. Hennesy says Blaine Hipp is a physical and elusive quarterback and added that this year's Hominy team has one of the best offensive lines he has seen since being at Pawhuska. Hennesy went on to talk about the new look defense Pawhuska will see from Hominy on Friday night.
