Copan's Expectations Being Raised

The Copan Hornets were one of the only area football teams to win this past weekend.

Copan is off to a 2-0 start after a 44-7 win over Foyil.

An impressive beginning to the season, as Copan has started to creep into the top-10 in the state in some publication’s Class B-II polls.

Copan head coach Marshall Foreman talks about his club’s performance against Foyil.

Overall, Foreman says he thinks him club could have played much better, citing the turnovers and self-inflicted wounds on offense. He pointed out that Copan would have run-ruled Foyil early if the Hornets had more success on their two-point conversions.

This reflects the overall change in expectations within the program. Something Foreman says he is proud of.

Copan should have a strong chance to start 3-0, as the Hornets host an 0-2 Depew team on Friday night in Northern Washington County.

A 7:00 PM kick.
