It is another Monday, which means it is time for another Patriot Auto Group Area Athlete of the Week.

Today we will look at another volleyball player, as Keilan Ruble has led Dewey volleyball into a new regime in 2024.

Ruble is one of only two seniors for this year’s version of Bulldogger volleyball. Dewey is under a new head coach in Hayley Harris.

Ruble talks about what she enjoys about volleyball and what the transition to Harris as her head coach has been like. 

Ava Bowman is the only other senior on this year’s Dewey volleyball team. Ruble says it would mean a lot for her and Bowman to play a part in building Bulldogger volleyball.

Ruble says her favorite subject in school is math, which fits with her overall plans when she heads to Stillwater to continue her education next year.

Ruble is also a cheerleader for Dewey, which is her other activity. Dewey volleyball is a bit beneath .500 heading into the second half of the season.
