After allowing a drive on the opening drive of the game, the Pawhuska Huskies would score 60 unanswered before going on to defeat the Meeker Bulldogs, 60-13.

After giving up an eight play drive that spanned 65 yards on the opening series, Pawhuska responded. The sophomore running back Vann Wildcat capped the drive with this impressive run.

The two-point conversion gave Pawhuska the one point edge and from there the Huskies never looked back. On the ensuing defensive possession, Pawhuska partially blocked a Meeker punt. The Huskies got field position deep inside Meeker territory and were able to take advantage.

From there, the Husky defense went on to force two safeties and Jenson Snodgrass made a 31-yard field goal en route to the victory.

Pawhuska hosts Hominy in the Battle of the Osage next Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on 99.1 FM KPGM and streaming on KPGMTV.com.
