Dewey stumbles in home loss to Perkins-Tryon

The Dewey Bulldoggers had a tough season opener against one of the top programs in 3A recently, as the Bulldoggers were overwhelemed early in a 49-0 home loss to Perkins-Tryon.
 
The Bulldoggers started off the game forcing a Demons fumble, but on the ensuing Bulldoggers drive they snapped the ball into the endzone for a safety. That snowballed into a 49-0 halftime deficit for dewey.
 
One of the highlights for the Bulldoggers was this fake punt in the 2nd quarter
 
For the 2nd straight week, Dewey held tough in the second half and was not outscored, outgaining Perkins-Tryon in the 2nd half.
 
Dewey fell to 0-2 on the season and will look to bounce back with a home game against Checotah on Friday.
