OKWU Volleyball ranked in top 15 of NAIA Poll

Expectations are sky high for the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Volleyball team in 2014, as the NAIA ranked the Eagles 13th in the nation to start the season. OKWU won the KCAC Tournament championship in 2013 for the first time in school history on the way to a 28-6 record. Eagles Head Coach Tracie Gillette is starting her 15th season as head coach of the program and told Bartlesville Radio her initial thoughts on this team.
OKWU returns some key pieces from last years team including 2023 NAIA Freshman of the Year and 1st Team All-American Evelyn Rohrberg, who as an outside hitter totalled 596 kills last season.
Former Bartlesville Bruin star Sydney Collins was also an NAIA All-American third team selection last season from her setter position as the the Junior hopes to help OKWU make a deep post season run.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University begins the season with the road trip to Columbia, MO to take on Missouri Valley College and Columbia College on Tuesday, Aug. 20th.
