Motorcycle Crash Kills Sand Springs Man in Osage County

A fatality accident occurred in the early morning on July 14, 2024, resulting in the death of Cale Turner, a 30-year-old resident of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Turner was operating a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the accident occurred.

According to preliminary reports from local authorities, Turner was traveling northbound on New Prue Road when, for reasons yet to be determined, he lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle veered off the roadway and entered a ditch, ultimately coming to a stop approximately 10 feet away from the road.

Emergency services, including EMSA, responded swiftly to the scene and transported Turner to St John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tragically, despite efforts by medical personnel, Turner succumbed to the injuries sustained during the collision and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The exact circumstances leading to Turner losing control of the motorcycle remain under investigation by authorities. At this time, details surrounding the cause of the collision are yet to be determined.

The incident has left the community of Sand Springs and beyond in mourning as they come to terms with the loss of Cale Turner. Further updates on the investigation are expected to follow as authorities work to establish the sequence of events that led to this devastating accident.
