In addition to the importance of finding a short-term health care provider for the Osage County Jail, signing agreements with the nutrition department was another thing on the top of the list for the Board of Osage County Commissioners to accomplish on Monday morning.

The Board signed a site agreement with the Hominy Senior Citizens Center for $500 a month and that will go toward utility usage and pest control. That contract will run through June of next year. An additional contract was also signed with Help Works Inc. for $650 a month. Hot meals will be picked up at the Cedar Ridge location and delivered to Barnsdall five days a week.

There was also a memorandum of understanding signed with the town of Avant for the 204-2025 fiscal year for the nutrition program. There were no utility permits signed during Monday's meeting.

The Board of Osage County Commissioners are scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. next Monday for those interested in attending.
