Bartlesville Radio: The area’s best source for news, weather and sports!

The inaugural City of Bartlesville citizens academy recently concluded and capped off with a graduation ceremony at Monday evening's city council meeting. This was a free and interactive course that lasted two months where 20 students were able to learn more about the inner-workings of how city government works.

Council member Quinn Schipper says Assistant City Manager Laura Sanders and Chief Financial Officer Jason Muninger were instrumental in getting the program started. He went on to speak on the success of the program earlier this week.

There were an approximate 50 applicants who applied to be a part of the program.
