The Pawhuska Police Department wants to convey to its citizens that shooting off fireworks within the City limits will not be tolerated, as it is unlawful for people, firms, manufacturers or corporations to sell or discharge those fireworks in town.

An ordinance goes on to say that public displays of fireworks are acceptable, as specified by the Pawhuska Fire Prevention Code.
