A Colorado Man and a Vinita woman were injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon at about 4:30pm on County Road S 4465, half a mile from County Road S 350 and about 1.5 miles north of Langley in Mayes County.
OHP reports: a 2019 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by Chard Turner, 31, from Fountain, CO., with passenger Emily Williams, 26, from Vinita was traveling northbound on County Road S 4465 when it failed to negotiate a right curve, veered off the road to the left, and collided with a utility pole.
Turner was transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries. Williams was also transported by Tulsa Life Flight to St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in guarded condition with trunk external injuries.
OHP reports the cause of collision was failure to negotiate the curve.
