A heavy downpour with big wind gusts, lightning and some hail on Saturday night caused some brief road closures and power outages.

Rainfall in the amounts of 1 inch to 2.31 inches were recorded in a very short time across the area. This lead to some roadways, including parts of Adams Boulevard in Bartlesville, to be closed down for a while until the rainwater had the chance to run off.

Downed tree limbs were reported on Gap Road and in the Oak Park areas of Bartlesville. Pea sized hail was reported in some parts as well.

At one point, nearly 6,000 customers lost power throughout Osage, Washington and Nowata counties combined during the storm.
