The Bartlesville Municipal Authority and City Council will meet Monday evening to take care of several items of business.

The BMA will meet briefly to discuss a beer and wine license for Adams Golf Course before adjourning and reconvening as the City Council.

City Councilors are expected to discuss and take action on multiple items, including contracts between the city and the local Fraternal Order of Police for changes to stipends and the collective bargaining agreement, a construction contract for a new roof at Adams Golf Course’s Pro Shop, and an amendment to the professional service agreement with Guy Engineering for design of the Tuxedo Boulevard bridges over the Caney River and overflow.

Additionally, the council is expected to revisit an ordinance that would permit the use of golf carts on city streets that was previously proposed by Ward 2 Councilor Loren Roszel. The council is also expected to rename a portion of Oak Park Road to Roane Road, in honor of former Ward 4 Councilor Billie Roane, who passed away unexpectedly in April.

The BMA meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday with the City Council meeting convening immediately after in the Council Chambers of Bartlesville City Hall, 401 S. Johnstone Ave.
