The Weekly Men’s Bible Study in Bartlesville

It began nearly 23 years ago when Kevin Potter and a friend started The Weekly Men’s Bible Study in Bartlesville that iis held every Friday at Sterling’s Grille, Noon-1:00 PM.
Appearing on COMMUNTIY CONNECTION, Kevin Potter and Quinn Schipper told us all about this fantastic group. Kevin told us about how the idea came about and that it almost didn't happen. Once the Weekly Men’s Bible Study in Bartlesville got going, it has been going ever since.
Quinn Schipper said that Jim Curd, Sterling’s owner and host, is active with the Bible Study. Jim opens up his restaurant, Sterling's Grille, just for this event as the restaurant is not normally open for lunch. You are asked to park on south side and enter through the back. You will get a nicely plated lunch plus salad, drinks, and cookies $10 to enjouy during the study.
Quinn said the 2024 Theme Word is: Grow and the 2024 Theme Verse is 2 Peter 3:18. He added that the “Concert of Prayer” takes group praises and requests, then break into “trios and quartets” for small group prayer together.
The group is wrapping up a 3-month study on the Abrahamic Covenant and the Great Commission. In 2 weeks, a new series begins on The Sermon on the Mount
Kevin and Quinn said that newcomers are welcome and all have a good time as they grow relationally and spiritually.
