A Bartlesville man was seen in Washington County Court on Thursday after being taken into custody on an outstanding warrant regarding a domestic abuse by strangulation case that dates back to early May.

A probable cause affidavit states that Blue Mamolo is alleged to have gotten mad at the victim and destroyed her apartment. When the victim went to the bathroom in an attempt to call 911, Mamolo began strangling her at which time she lost consciousness. Mamolo stole $611 from the victim's Cash App account before leaving in the victim's car.

The victim later called officers and they observed red markings on her neck. The victim agreed to go to the hospital where she filled out a protective order against Mamolo.

The defendant was booked into the Washington County Jail on Wednesday afternoon and he saw his bond set at $25,000 on Thursday on the condition he has no contact with the alleged victim. Mamolo's next court date is set for 9 a.m. on Friday, July 19th
