We continue our coverage of OKWU basketball this summer as we focus on the stars coming back for the Eagles next season. Wesleyan did lose two long-time starters in Kaleb Stokes and Taylen Miller but return three of their five starters from a season ago.

The two headliners and senior leaders are Jaden Lietzke and D.J. Talton Jr. Both have racked up accolades over their Eagle tenures, including first and second team honors, along with being named conference players of the year on both sides of the ball.

Head Coach Donnie Bostwick talks about Lietzke and Talton.

They will also return starter Dylan Phillip for his fifth season, and his second straight year in the starting lineup. Phillip led the team in three’s made last season with 61 and shot at a 34% clip.

We will have continued coverage of Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball over the next few months.
