Nowata Football Busy Through June
Nowata Football is less than a week away from hitting the mandatory OSSAA dead period next week and they’ve been plenty busy through June. The Ironmen, unlike other local teams, have not yet competed in a team camp but have had plenty of other ways of competing with other schools this summer.
Head Coach Chance Juby details what his Ironmen have been up too since spring ball.
The Ironmen did lose some contributors from last year but will bring back a big chunk of players that will be entering their second or third year under Juby’s system. Included in that is senior starting quarterback, Trevor Emberson.
Juby talks about Emberson’s growth this summer as he enters his senior season.
The Ironmen are coming off their winningest season since 2019 this last year that saw them go 4-6. We will have more on Nowata football next week during the OSSAA mandatory dead period.
