The City of Bartlesville Employee Advisory Committee recognized their most recent employee of the month. Jenson Smith works for the Parks Department and received the honor after his co-worker Terry Chapman nominated him. Chapman had this to say in his nomination letter:

“Jenson was cleaning the Pathfinder and came across a fire at the base of a tree. He then made multiple trips with five gallon buckets to get it put out.”

As a result of Smith getting the recognition, he will receive eight extra hours of vacation time, $25 in chamber bucks and a gift card.
