Republican Oklahoma Senator Julie Daniels has earned another term in office after overcoming a challenge from former State House District 11 Representative Wendi Stearman in the Tuesday's GOP primary election.

There is no Democrat opponent in November, so this primary election settled the race altogether.

Senator Daniels garnered 54.97% or 4,144 total votes to Stearman's 45.03% or 3,395 total votes.

Daniels spoke with Bartlesville Radio last night.
