The City of Hominy wants to inform the public that a storm shelter residents have gone to in the past in the event of severe weather is closed until further notice. The Church of the Nazarene will not be open for severe weather emergencies until further notice. 

The City of Hominy reminds the public that the fire department and armory is not a shelter, as emergency personnel must have the ability to access their vehicles and equipment if a disaster does break out. 

It is important to make alternative plans now if neccesary.
